CARDIOVASCULAR CONDITIONING

Conditioning

Improving your cardiovascular health and your body composition can help you live longer, and enjoy a higher quality of life.

That’s why, along with strength training, cardiovascular conditioning is an important part of every session we do.

The backbone of our approach is interval training: short bouts of high-intensity work followed by rest. Interval training gives you more bang for your buck—superior results in less time. Your ability to work at a higher fitness level, for a longer period of time improves drastically.

There are many different methods, modalities and levels of interval training, depending on your fitness level and goals.  Some of these include:
  • AirDyne Bike
  • Slide Board
  • Circuits
  • Battling Ropes
  • Treadmill Sprints
  • Shuttle Running (indoors or out)
  • Sled Pushes

And we’re always implementing new ones.

Long, slow distance training to “burn fat”  was the conventional wisdom 20 years ago. It’s boring, tedious work. And to add insult to injury, it’s less effective. Yet many people continue to train this way, simply because they’re not aware of all the advances exercise science has made.

We’ll help get you up to date… and into shape.
